Owen Robinson
Owen Robinson is a musician born in Urbana, IL. He finished his undergraduate at the University of Illinois with Professor Bernhard Scully, and is now taking a gap year to pursue freelancing opportunities and explore further educational endeavors in his secondary degree of psychology. Owen plays in several groups, including Sinfonia da Camera, Jacksonville Symphony, CU Symphony, and his brass quintet, the Fortissimo Five, who gig around the midwest year-round and recently had the opportunity to perform with Clément Saunier and compete at the International Trumpet Guild conference in Rochester, NY.
In addition to music, Owen has a deep rooted interest in philosophy and matters of the mind. He hopes to explore research opportunities bridging the arts and cognition, and loves to talk to others about their perspectives on various matters.
Owen has attended Cormont Horn Camp for several years in the past, and is looking forward to returning once again in a different role.
