Inman Hébert
A native of Prattville, Alabama, Inman Hébert is a current horn performance student at the University of Alabama, where he studies under the guidance of professor Charles “Skip” Snead. Other major teachers have included Dr. Brenda Luchsinger, associate professor of horn at Alabama State University; David Bradley, the principal horn of the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra and Atlanta Opera Orchestra; and SSG Matt Meadows. At the University of Alabama, Inman has performed in a variety of ensembles, including the Huxford Symphony Orchestra, the UA Wind Ensemble, and the UA horn octet. Additionally, he has performed with a variety of local orchestras, including Sinfonia Gulf Coast, the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra, and the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to his performance-related studies, Inman has also worked actively within the International Horn Society for years. He currently writes and/or edits the student column of the organization’s Horn and More newsletter. As someone who has attended Cormont Horn Camp virtually or in-person for several years starting at the beginning of high school, he looks forward to serving the organization as a staff member.
